Tip of the day: Increase skin elasticity from within

Silica, a trace mineral found in various foods including green beans, strawberries, asparagus, green and red peppers and cucumber, is essential for healthy skin. Silica helps in strengthening connective tissues like muscles, nails, cartilage and hair. Its shortage can result in reduced skin elasticity and can also slow down the body’s ability to heal wounds. So eat your fruits and veggies to increase skin elasticity and youthfulness!
