Just got my ecocentricguide.ca newsletter, and there is a highlight on some lovely eco-friendly bedding… gorgeous, fab-filled eco-home design..finally! I was getting tired of all the muted greys and taupes that seem to be synonomous with eco-friendly..whoever said colour wasn’t natural?

We thought we’d had sushi before the night we went to Buddakon, but oh, were we wrong; the sushi at Buddakon is a revelation, a pathway to a greater beyond… or at least the best darn sushi we have ever eaten. We have introduced a brand new food group to our ‘must eat’ chart…alas, we’ve now been spoiled for all other imitators. The elevator that squires you to the second floor adds an extra bit of panache to the entire experience too.

After years of matchy-matchy, we love disordant shocks of color right now – the more jarring, the better. Pair green with orange, electric bue with pink – just remember to keep the doses of the contrast element small (for example: green shirt, jeans, with a fabulous pair of bright orange earrings. Yay colour!

Just because the weather outside has been cold, we are tired of winter, and sun, sand and surf feel just about right. We love Kaui in particular; the ‘garden’ island with its spectacular Napali Coastline is truly inspiring. And we like inspiring.
