I’m Jodi, CEO and founder, exuberant soul, adventurer, organic skin care aficionado and overall enthusiast.

I grew up on a boat, and sailed halfway around the world before I was five.

Somewhere along the way, I developed bad skin. I tried everything to fix it. And I mean everything - from lotions to potions to medication. Nothing worked, until I discovered natural healthy skin care, which transformed my skin. The only problem was I was unhappy with the formulas, which were very basic, oily, greasy and had very few ingredients focused on creating healthy skin. I decided to fix the problem, because why should women have to sacrifice when it comes to safe, effective and holistic beauty products?

I first delved into the natural skin care arena while living in a small cottage in Quebec. I can share from experience that Exuberance is not beauty when you’re in a cottage during a freezing winter and the heat conks out.

My water wouldn’t work for months at a time either, and so I learned how to make lotion without water. I discovered it was better that way – less water means more active ingredients and more active ingredients mean the products are more effective. When developing Exuberance I immersed myself in every aspect of creating extraordinary products– from the best ingredients, to making and blending essential oils, to aqueous infusions, to learning what ingredients were beneficial and the ones that weren’t.

The response has been amazing both from stores and customers alike. The end result was a line of truly amazing products, designed to help women achieve their own exuberance and natural beauty through safe and effective skin care, without the use of dead chemicals.

Since my journey began in 2003 we’ve had some really amazing success. In 2008, we were chosen to be one of the top emerging brands in North America at Cosmoprof, an industry-leading trade show. After the success of the show, we opened in Henri Bendel in New York City, a historical landmark and a key indicator of up-and-coming brands... and a gorgeous store. (Between you and me, I bought far too many candles and chocolates during my visits).

I was invited to share my at-home cellulite remedy on Dr. Oz, which was a great way to get over stage fright!

My products have been seen everywhere from the Daytime Emmy Award to LA Fashion week – and we have some of the most amazing testimonials around.

With all these beautiful things happening with Exuberance, some wonderful things have been happening for me as well. Somewhere along the line this became about more than creating healthy skin care for me – it became a way to help make a positive difference, to help women see themselves differently and get the most out of their lives. I am so passionate about reminding women of their beauty and potential – and what is possible for them when they embrace their unique beauty.
