Our Girl 'Howie'

Exuberance, like any great cause, company or mission, (and we're a combination of all three) needed a visual symbol, an icon and a reminder of the importance of living our values, to act with authenticity, love and - you guessed it - exuberance; that it is 'How We' Live that Counts.

We believe that we each have an immense capacity for love, kindness, and compassion. But without action, these gifts aren’t shared with the world. And while we often think change has to be huge and magnificent, the first place to start is really quite simple – love yourself first. Choose to care for yourself. We don’t mean only via the usual routes, a la spouting cutesy girl-power mantras, treating yourself to spa days and buying new clothes (although these are fun in their own right): we mean doing whatever it takes to accept and love yourself and see your own beauty, just as you are. Meditate, take long walks, make love, write, paint, howl at the moon, dance with your children. Do whatever it takes to recognize your own personal gifts and learn to love yourself. That's what helps to create a beautiful, exuberant life and a beautiful Exuberant you. Acting with love towards the world around you flows as a natural extension of this; because once you start to see your own worth and beauty, you begin to see it in everyone around you too - and your daily choices begin to naturally reflect this. When you feel loved and cared for, from the person who knows you best (that’s you!) you are full up, never drained, and easily able to offer your best self to the world. These simple acts of self care, can, over time, impact the world in a magnificent and dazzling way. Now that’s a cause we can get behind! (Because it’s all about love, baby).
